Local rapper Cassper Nyovest made headlines, and was even mentioned in Parliament, with his recent benchmark Fill up the Dome concert. The full suite of creative, production and technical design was handled by cutting edge Cape Town based company Formative, in collaboration with Gearhouse.
The Cape Town leg of RMB Starlight Classics, brought to you by Rand Merchant Bank and produced by Jam Events, was hosted at the Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West on 11 and 12 March 2016. This is one of Lighting Designer Joshua Cutts’ favourite shows and he worked in close collaboration with fellow designer Christopher Bolton from Keystone.
Sets, Drapes, Screen (SDS) took delivery of an additional 14 AV Stumpfl screens (a mixture of the manufacturer-patented FullWhite® borderless screens and wide-format screens), this May. The new stock will be evenly deployed between the Cape Town and Johannesburg branches to ensure a mirrored stock holding in both centres.

Digital design agency INJOZI, approached Gearhouse Group with an unusual concept for their Consol Glass campaign for Grey Advertising Johannesburg. The brief was to create a projection surface using the client's product, in this case glass bottles, to be used as a backdrop for a variety of performance scenarios.
